“You know that spark you see behind an artist’s eyes, like to be on stage.. that little light that shines in their eyes.. It was missing. There was something that was missing, cos there was so much real life stuffed out that was blinding that, and for the first time I saw the fire again.”
Britney: That’s weird. Like, you can see the cruelest part of the world, the cruelest part. But then on the other side, you see the most beautiful part. Do you know? It’s like you go from one extreme to the next. And they’re both worth it because you wouldn’t see the other without the other one. But that cool part.. is DAMN cool. And you’ll never forget it. But that heaven is heaven. So it’s like.. I’ve been to both places. Now I try to avoid situations from the past that may threaten me.
Interviewer: How do you do that?
Britney: I go through life like a karate kid.
